Friends unite from Renton, Newcastle, Kent,
Bellevue, Mercer Island, and Issaquah to help save the people of
Haiti.
McKnight Middle School teacher, Mr. Dave Black
is firmly committed to helping the people of Haiti. You can
help too! Mr. Black
and The Difference Maker Organization have
teamed up to hold an important DINNER and SILENT AUCTION at McKnight
Middle School in order to help the Red Cross continue their
important work in Haiti.
All proceeds will be going to the American Red Cross. To learn

was founded 8 years ago (by a
former McKnight and Hazen student), please go to
www.thedifferencemaker.org. YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN
HAITI. (All PTA and PTSA parents from all area schools are wanted to help with
organizing the event!

HERE ARE THE WAYS YOU CAN HELP US:
1. ATTEND THE EVENT!
Come and join the fun and be part of this
extraordinary event! You may buy your tickets at the door or
PRE-PAY using our ORDER FORM. Simply follow the instructions
enclosed. COST: $15 per person. Six and under
are free.

2. DONATE ITEMS or SERVICES for Silent Auction!
We hope you will attend this
spaghetti dinner and silent auction! if you have
any items or services that can be provided for this event,
please print off the attached auction item form, and mail it to the
address below. If we need to pick up the item, just indicate
that on the form and we will be glad to come get it from you!
THINK CREATIVELY! Do you have a special
service you could provide? Know a friend who is willing to
provide their services for this incredible cause? Or if you
would call some businesses in your area and ask for donations, we
appreciate your support!

3. VOLUNTEER!
We need a LOT of help! We can use help
from middle school age on up! Please EMAIL us today if you are
willing to help in ANY way! Here's a few examples of how you
may be able to help. We have needs in the following areas:
Solicit donations from businesses - registration & auction check-out
table - silent auction table helpers - food helpers -set up and
clean up crew - sound equipment assistance - drivers to pick up
auction items - silent auction table set up - security - and so much
more!
Students who need civic hours will receive credit.
4. DONATE using your check or credit card!
Can't make the event, or simply want to be able
to donate using your credit card? There are two ways you can
donate. Through The Difference Maker
Organization, all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.
This allows us to track how many donations were received for this
event. Online donations are processed through Network for
Good, the leading credit card processing company for non-profit
organizations.

specify its use for Haiti. While we cannot track the dollars
through the Red Cross, you

literally help save the lives of those in dire need in Haiti.
